General Discussion
Hello everyone,
I'm thrilled and grateful to be joining this vibrant community as a new member. My name is Ann, and I recently became a mother to a beautiful, spirited baby boy Theo. Theo was born with a limb disability, and as we navigated the initial stages of understanding and acceptance, I've found immense comfort and potential in connecting with others who walk similar paths.
As a newcomer, my hopes are twofold: to learn and to share. I am here to soak up all the wisdom and experiences you all have to offer, which I believe will help me provide Theo with the best start in life. I'm eager to learn about everything from accessibility tools and resources to personal stories of resilience and joy. Your insights on navigating daily challenges, advocating for rights, and fostering inclusivity will be invaluable to us.
Moreover, I hope to share our own experiences as Theo grows. I believe that every story adds depth to our collective understanding and support network, and I'm looking forward to contributing to this tapestry. Through sharing, I aim to connect with other parents and individuals who might be seeking solidarity or facing similar situations.
Ultimately, I want Theo to grow up in a world where he feels strong, capable, and supported. I believe that being part of this community will not only empower us as a family but will also allow Theo to see a future filled with possibilities, not limitations.
Thank you for welcoming us into your fold. I am excited to learn, share, and grow with all of you.
Warm regards,
Ann
